Located in the midst of a beautiful park, the centuries-old Château Bethlehem has been transformed by twelve established and up-and-coming designers into a magnificent hotel with 26 uniquely designed rooms. Minimalistic, playful, simple or luxurious, there’s a surprise awaiting you behind every door, with no two hotel rooms being the same. The teaching hotel is part of renowned Hotel Management School Maastricht. This is a hotel run for and by students offering an unique training environment which is both experimental and oriented towards the future.
Rooms feature daring designs by leading and young designers that stand out from the norm in the hotel industry. All have a panoramic flat-screen TV, safe, coffee and tea-making facilities and a bathroom with hairdryer.
The present restaurant in the Château was once a refectory and lecture hall. Talented designer Leon de Lange has transformed it into a modern restaurant themed as a classroom. Students serve the most delicious seasonal dishes prepared with local ingredients. Their knowledge of products, taste combinations and cooking techniques results in an innovative menu that is regularly changed. In fine weather, the courtyard and terrace with a view of the park are also open.
Designer Bart Hagenvoort is responsible for the stylish interior of bar/lounge Le Coin. In the bar you can enjoy a great cup of coffee with Limburg ‘vlaai’ or a refreshing cocktail with traditional Dutch croquettes.
A place where innovation, hospitality and training come together.
